Learn how to plan for more successful paintings with the use of simple skills. Watercolor is a thinking artist’s medium more than any other I have known. Having a plan before tackling a painting is without question the best approach. With each day of the workshop you’ll build a stronger understanding of design, color, content, value, edges and much more. With a little time spent planning, success can be achieved. Benefit from friendly, constructive critiques.
About Your Instructor
An active participant in the arts community, Brenda has served on the board of directors for the National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. Her paintings and sketches have been featured in Watercolor Magazine (2000, 2004), Watercolor Highlights (2006), Quarterly Magazine, Wheels of Time and numerous other publications.
She is the artist author of Keeping a Watercolor Sketchbook, an Award of Excellence Finalist. Her newest book – Steps to Success in Watercolor – is due for release in June 2007. She has received numerous awards for her painting and is in demand to demonstrate her watercolor techniques to groups and to teach watercolor workshops.
