Emerging and established artists exploe a variety of media and styles, everything from traditional oil painting, digital art, sculpture, photography, ceramics and more.
The juror for this year?s show was Kent Twitchell, one of America?s foremost muralists and a Los Angeles artistic treasure. His work graces the walls and freeways of our city as well as other locations around the country. He is currently working on recreating The Freeway Lady mural on VIVA?s outside wall.
The Pasadena Society of Artists is an organization of professional artists whose purpose is to present to the people of Pasadena and surrounding communities, the works of its most talented and creative inhabitants. The Society presents a variety of art-related programs to the community in a diverse and contemporary image. Since 1925, PSA has held an annual exhibition of its members? works, and its members include many noted Southland artists.
The Society was organized at a time when Southern California was beginning to produce the indigenous art from which has evolved the varied and vital work being created today. We are proud to have been a part of that artistic growth and are dedicated to keeping this tradition alive.
