About the Juror

Stephen Wright is a figurative artist living and working in Los Angeles. He has a degree in Graphic Design from CSU Long Beach and was a designer and design director for 15 years. Stephen has had several successful solo shows in both New York and San Francisco, and has participated in numerous group shows across the country as well. His work is exhibited internationally and has been published in several art magazines. Many of his pieces have been purchased by important collectors in the U.S., Europe and Middle East.

About VAG

Valley Artists Guild (VAG) is a nonprofit organization with a membership base of over 180 members, who are professional and award winning, national and international artists and who utilize innovative and conceptual approaches to art in all mediums ranging from realistic to contemporary and abstract works.

Monthly meetings and workshops are offered which feature demonstrations or presentations by renowned artists and art professionals. These events enhance education as well as give members the opportunity to enjoy fellowship and social interaction with other artists.

VAG's exhibiting members are chosen by application and juried selection twice each year, in the Spring and Fall. They welcome all levels of artists and encourage them to fulfill their highest potential through ongoing education and creative interaction. VAG is dedicated to the advancement of the visual arts through exhibition, education and outreach and their philanthropic programs are ongoing.

Members also receive a newsletter which provides information on meetings, programs, member news and exhibits.
