Aquarelle Nine Plus 1
Wednesday, July 18 – Saturday, August 4, 2007
Aquarelle Nine, formed in 1983, is a group of watercolor painters that have made a commitment to paint together every two weeks. Through the years there has been a turnover in membership as members became painters of a “certain age,” and so they have added new members as space permitted.
Mainly plein air painters, Aquarelle Nine meet at various locations and in members homes. They have traveled to Mexico, Cuba, Greece, Mendocino, Sedona, Yucca Valley, and Manzanar to paint. The group has had two exhibitions at the Federal Building in Westwood, and also at the Pacific Palisades Library.
