Pointed Pen Calligraphy

Dates: A series of 6 classes. Six Tuesday mornings: February 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27 :
Time: 10am – noon
Level: For beginners or those with experience who want to sharpen their skills.
Fee: $120 for the 6-class series, payable at first class.

Materials Supply List: For a $15 materials fee, all your basic supplies will be provided by the teacher, including a booklet of samples and exemplars which will be added to as the class progresses.

Class Description
Whether you want to learn one of the hottest styles of lettering today or just improve your writing, this class is for you. We will start with the basics and then quickly move through writing various styles of lettering, all with the pointed pen.
About Your Instructor
Xandra’s pen has created artwork for various motion picture and television productions as well as for many celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, Ozzy Osbourne, Quincy Jones, John Travolta and Oprah Winfrey. You may have seen some of her work in print in Brides, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, Martha Stewart Weddings, Letter Arts Review, People and US magazines as well as in The Perfect Wedding Details by Maria McBride-Mellinger, Simple Stroke Calligraphy by Marci Donley and Signature Weddings by Michelle Rago.

Xandra Zamora serves as Vice President of the Society for Calligraphy, and is a member of IAMPETH: The International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting.
