The Juror for this show, Lisa Adams, studied art at Scripps College, and received her BA degree in 1977 and her MFA from Claremont Graduate University in 1980. She has taught art at the Claremont Graduate University, Otis College of Art and Design, and University of California, Riverside. Adams has received a 1996 Fulbright Professional Scholar Award to Slovenia, a 1999 artist-in-residency grant to Helsinki, Finland, an artist-in-residency in 2000 for Japan, the 2002 Julia & David White Artists Colony Residency to Costa Rica and was an NEA finalist. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, is an independent curator and author.
