Collage Artists of America
“Mixing Materials and Personalities”

Collage Artists of America presented 83 collages and assemblages at VIVA Art Center selected by Juror Franklyn Liegel, artist/educator at Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA and Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, CA. The works of 55 artists were represented, providing an array of colors, texture and materials.
Liegel stated: “The entries chosen represent a broad spectrum of collage with a curious ‘pull’ towards combined media and assemblage. The spirit of creativity within this organization never ceases to amaze me! Congratulations! The selection process honors your creativity!”
